On September 19, 2022 St. Anne Institute took over Shaker Ridge Country Club for a fun day of Golf. The Fedullo-Catena Golf Classic went out with sounds from the Schenectady Pipe Band. The players remained hopeful as they played through the at least 15 holes without the rain that was slated for the day. That came to a screeching halt as the siren blew to cease play by 4:30PM.
It is believed that Cornelio, aka “Connie” Catena may have had something to do with holding off the rain for so long, as the tournament was played in his honor, as he passed away earlier this year. Connie was a friend to all he came in contact with and served as the Associate Executive Director of St. Anne Institute alongside Ralph Fedullo for many years.
