St. Anne Institute:  Bishop Howard J. Hubbard Hall is an emergency shelter open 24/7/365 to any youth, male or female, ages 13-17 who is a runaway, homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or in an otherwise unsafe situation.

Description of Duties:

St. Anne Institute is currently seeking a full-time Street Outreach Program Coordinator to oversee the federal Street Outreach Program grant providing services to homeless teenagers. Provide supervisory support to assigned Street Outreach Program staff Provide individual and group supervision to Street Outreach Program staffEnsure Street Outreach Program staff fulfill all training requirements. Provide training to new staff and ongoing training to existing staffBuild and maintain a street presence in Albany County and surrounding communities to educate community members and teenagersAttend training on Positive Youth Development and Harm Reduction ModelDevelop a curriculum of activities and events that build protective factors in area youthDevelop and maintain supplies of food and clothing for youth in needEnsure program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and that they comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.Write semiannual, annual and continuation grant reports with administrationCommunicate with youth, parents, other manager, stakeholders, and community organizations. Attend community wide task force meetings. Develop & maintain processes to respond to immediate needs of youth in crisisManage, review and monitor maintenance of records to ensure both internal and external quality assurance standards and timely completionAssist with the coordination of audit preparation and audit executionAssist in locating and creating support networks in the communityEnsure implementation and review of logic modelsConstruct and maintain a calendar of events, drop in site workshops, trainings, and street outreach locations.Maintain a list of resources for youth and providersIncrease public awareness of homelessness and human trafficking via events, promotional material, social media, and community presence.

Qualifications:

BA/BS/BSW in human services; 2+ years of experience in working with at-risk teenagers. Valid NYS Driver’s License.
