Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem Positions Available, All Shifts

Description of Duties:

St. Anne Institute is opening a new youth shelter in Albany for runaway and homeless youth ages 13 to 17. Youth Care Workers will work with youth to promote their positive physical, social, emotional well-being and safety and will assist youth with accessing help for various issues include addictions, human trafficking, homelessness, the justice system, family, parenting, stress management and self- esteem. Youth Care Workers will provide educational assistance, referrals for professional services and direct educational activities.

Qualifications:

  • Must have GED or High School Diploma, some college preferred.
  • Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License.
  • Must be reliable, have some paid or volunteer experience in human services field and be able to work well with youth.
  • Be flexible and be able to work varied schedule

Special Notes:

The Youth will be supervised and cared for by Staff according to NYS licensing regulations, shelter rules and regulations.
