Sexual Abuse Prevention Project

St. Anne Institute’s Sex Abuse Prevention Project provides specialized assessment, treatment, and case management services to children, youth, and families in which there are active sexual abuse concerns.  The Sexual Abuse Prevention Project provides best practice trauma treatment services on a regional basis, through St. Anne’s three (3) office sites in Albany, Troy, and Hudson Falls, New York.  

Specialized Services Provided Include:

  • ·         Psychological Evaluation
  • ·         Trauma Informed Treatment services including individual, family, and group therapy (with specialized groups for child victims, non-offending        parents, juvenile and adult offenders, parent support and education)
  • ·         Supportive Case Management and Safety Planning
  • ·         Clinical Consultation and Training
  • ·         24 hour Emergency On-call Services

The agency’s JSOP services are designed to assist children and adolescents who have engaged in sexually abusive, aggressive, coercive and/or inappropriate behavior within the home or in the community. The primary focus of the treatment program is individual and group based work with a goal of family unification.
